Two people rescued from lift at Perth Railway Station

Two people had to be rescued after being trapped in a lift in Perth last week.

A fire crew were dispatched to Perth Railway Station on Friday, October 18 to safely release the pair.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 11.34am on Friday, October 18 to assist persons trapped in a lift at Perth Railway Station.

“Operations Control mobilised one appliance and safely released two people from the lift.

“The crew has now left the scene.”
