Two people have been injured in a crash between two cars and a van in Prestwich.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Bury New Road, near the junction with Butterstile Lane, at 7.03pm.
A police spokesperson said paramedics are treating two people for their injuries at the scene.
It is not clear if they will need hospital treatment, but the injuries were described as 'not serious'.
The road remains closed in both directions as police recover the vehicles and complete their investigation.
Drivers reported seeing 'many, many police' and that traffic, including buses, is being turned back.
