Two people injured after Leeds crash on A61 Harrogate Road

Two people have suffered injuries after a crash on a major Leeds road.

The incident occurred between the A61 Harrogate Road and Bondgate, in Harewood, shortly before 2pm today (July 12), involving two vehicles. The road was closed while the vehicles were recovered.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Police were called to reports of a two-vehicle road traffic collision on Bondgate/Harrogate Road, Harewood, Leeds, shortly before 2pm today.

"Officers are currently at the scene where two occupants from the vehicles are reported to have suffered injuries. The road is currently closed pending the vehicles being recovered."

A spokesperson for Yorkshire Ambulance Service said: "We got a call at 1.57pm to a road traffic collision on Bondgate and sent one ambulance and conveyed one patient to hospital."
