Two people hospitalised after cop car and Mercedes crash

An Australian Federal Police car and Mercedes have crashed on the corner of Condamine and Forbes Street in Turner.

An officer on the scene said the grey car hit the police vehicle.

As a precaution two people with "superficial injuries" have been transported to hospital, ACT policing said.

Parts of Condamine and Forbes Streets will be partially closed for a few hours, and a number of police cars were still on the scene on Tuesday, October 19 at 7.15pm.

ACT Fire and Rescue, ACT Ambulance and ACT policing attended the crash and the ACT policing crash team are expected to investigate the cause of the collision.
