Two people arrested after complaints about 'indecent acts' being carried out in public toilets in Manchester city centre

Two people have been arrested after complaints were made about 'indecent acts' being carried out in public toilets.

Police said they received 'lots of complaints' from members of the public about the incident at the Shudehill Interchange in Manchester city centre.

They reported 'indecent acts' being carried out in the public toilets at the bus and Metrolink station.

Two people were arrested in relation to the incident this morning (Wednesday).

No further details on the arrests, or the nature of the incident, have been released.

In a tweet, an officer at GMP Manchester City Centre wrote: "Transport Unit | Arrest!

"Following a lot of complaints about indecent acts in the public toilets at Shudehill, #transportunit officers have made 2 arrests this morning. Thanks."
