Two people arrested after baby girl dies in hospital

Two people have been arrested following the death of a four-month-old baby at Bristol Children's Hospital.

Gloucestershire Police held two people after the girl's death on April 18.

The baby - from Newent - was initially admitted to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital on Easter Sunday (April 12) in a serious condition, Gloucestershire Live reports.

She was then transferred to Bristol Children's Hospital where she was treated until her death six days later.

Today (April 22) - two people were arrested in connection with the investigation into her death and remain in police custody.

In other police news, two people have been arrested after the windows of a police car were smashed in Weston-super-Mare.
