Israeli forces have shot dead two Palestinians at the Huwara checkpoint as violence continues in the occupied West Bank.
Mohammed Sbaaneh, 17, was killed on Sunday after he allegedly stabbed and wounded an Israeli soldier, while his relative Nour Eddine Sbaaneh, 23, was the second Palestinian shot dead.
The latest killings by Israeli forces has taken the total Palestinian death toll since October to 141, according to the Palestinian health ministry.
The Israeli military, while confirming the incident, said that one Israeli soldier was injured.
Alleged stabbing incidents and car rammings have killed 20 Israelis and a US citizen.
Earlier on Sunday, a Palestinian allegedly stabbed and wounded an Israeli soldier in Jerusalem before he was arrested.
Two female Palestinians were arrested in the Qalqilya and Hebron regions of West Bank for allegedly possessing knives.
Benjamin Netanyahu, Israeli prime minister, criticised the Palestinian Authority - which he said "encourages and incites" the attacks - at the start of his weekly cabinet meeting on Sunday.
Palestinian leaders say a younger generation sees no hope for the future living under Israeli security restrictions and with a stifled economy.
The latest round of US-brokered peace talks collapsed in April last year.
Violence has also been prompted by anger over stepped-up Israeli visits to Jerusalem's al-Aqsa Mosque compound. The mosque is the holiest Islamic site outside Saudi Arabia.
Jews perform religious rites at the Western Wall (Wailing Wall) of the compound, known as the Temple Mount in Judaism.
