Two paddleboarders had to be rescued after getting into difficulty while out to sea.
The alarm was raised to the Coastguard just before 11am on Tuesday, October 5 after members of the public onshore spotted the two in danger off the coast of Barry.
The two paddleboarders had been swept out to sea past Nells Point, and both the Barry Island Coastguard Rescue Team and the Barry Island RNLI were paged to the scene.

The RNLI set out to recover the two people where they safely took them on board the lifeboat and returned them to shore where they were met by the coastguard at Whitmore Bay.
It is not reported that the paddleboarders suffered any injuries.

A spokesperson for the Coastguard said: "The Barry Island Coastguard Rescue Team and the Barry Island RNLI lifeboat were sent to Nell’s Point just before 11am yesterday (October 5) after members of the public had raised concerns for two paddleboarders who appeared to be in difficulty in the water.
"The lifeboat crew took the paddleboarders onboard their lifeboat and brought them back to the shore where they were checked over by the coastguard team.
"They did not require medical assistance."
