Weston-super-Mare and Clevedon are among the safest staycation destinations in the country, according to a new study.
The holiday company Hoo has ranked British seaside resorts by the proportion of their populations that have been vaccinated against Covid-19, dividing them into green, amber, and red categories.
Towns and cities are deemed to be green if they've vaccinated above 59 per cent of their populations.

In each of Clevedon and Weston, 65 per cent of the respective populations have received both jabs, meaning the towns go into the green category.
Across England, 28.5 million people (around 51 per cent) have received both Covid jabs, with a further 10 million having received one dose. Weston is therefore significantly above average.
The most recent data show there are around 232 Covid cases in North Somerset per 100,000 people, which is slightly lower than England's rate of 252 per 100,000. However, rates of the Delta variant are rising in Clevedon and Weston-super-Mare, as they are across the country.
With foreign holidays still off the agenda for many people, thanks to a limited green list of destinations, many Brits are turning to holidays at home, or "staycations". Holidays to amber list countries are now more realistic, however, since the government's announcement today that fully vaccinated people and children won't have to quarantine on their return from those destinations.
