Two newborn babies found wrapped in plastic bags in Madhya Pradesh

BHOPAL: The bodies of two new-born babies were found wrapped in plastic bags in two separate cases in 24 hours.

In the first incident in Jehangirabad, a new-born baby's dead body was found wrapped in a plastic bag lying in the bushes near Jail Pahadi Road on Sunday morning.

Police said that around 9.30 am, locals alerted the cops on Dial-100 that a new-born baby boy's dead body was found in the bushes. On getting information a team of Jehangirabad police immediately rushed to the spot and started investigation. No injuries marks were found on the body and doctors are suspecting that he was born dead. Police said that no hospital tag was found near the spot and investigations are underway to identify the parent of the deceased, who threw him into the bushes.

Meanwhile, in another incident, a new-born baby's dead body was found in Talaiya on Sunday. The body was found floating in the Upper Lake. Police reached the spot on getting information and sent the body to the mortuary.
