Two new names emerge as Celtic manager candidates with club on hunt for new boss

The next Celtic manager rumour mill is beginning to really pick up now.

From Enzo Maresca to Brendan Rodgers, and Kjetil Knutsen to David Moyes, several names have been linked with the vacant post over the past few days.

Ange Postecoglou left Glasgow for Tottenham on Tuesday, signing a four-year deal with the Premier League outfit.

He became the first ever Australian to manage in England's top-flight as a result, and the 57-year-old leaves with five trophies out of six from his time in Glasgow in the bag.

However, it's being widely reported that Parkhead's chiefs will cast their net far and wide as part of the recruitment process to determine Postecoglou's successor.

And two European media reports have now linked Andoni Iraola and Francesco Farioli with the gig at the Scottish champions.

Spanish outlet Estadio Deportivo claims that Iraola, who turned down Leeds during the season, could be the man to join the Hoops.

He left Rayo Vallecano recently, having guided them to a comfortable mid-table La Liga finish.

Also namechecked in their report is Graham Potter and Jesse Marsch.

However, Italian media source Il Seculo XIX reports that Farioli is also on the radar of the Hoops.

Recently relegated Sampdoria remains interested in his services too, though.

Meanwhile, Alan Brazil claims he has some insider information on who will be given the Celtic job.

He told talkSPORT: "I think I have a wee bit of, maybe a wee bit of inside information here.

"I don't want to put people on to putting a £5 on it. Do you know is going to have a big say and this is going to astonish you - Pep Guardiola. Pep, he will have a massive say as he and Dermot Desmond are very close.

"It's Enzo Maresca, I've got it, on good authority. I do know that Brendan Rodgers is odds-on favourite but it is interesting, Pep's associations with Dermot. Dermot is a very clever guy."
