Two new lettings at Birmingham office block

A Birmingham office block has secured a brace of new tenants.

The whole of the tenth floor of 45 Church Street has been leased to law firm Bevan Brittan and part of the seventh floor has been taken by Port-P, a computer support and IT services provider.

The deals were secured by property agencies Knight Frank and Savills on behalf of landlord Royal London Asset Management which is investing in renovation work of the building.

As part of this, a new communal roof terrace on the 12th floor of the building is due to open in the summer.

Asset manager Ruth Kemp said: "Our sustained investment in this property is proving accretive and these recent lettings support this and demonstrates the continued strength in the Birmingham office market.

"We look forward to delivering further asset management opportunities at 45 Church Street."

William Higgins, senior surveyor at Knight Frank, added: "The calibre and standing of these new tenants is a clear testament to the quality and impact of the continued investment in this grade A office building by Royal London.

"The planned introduction of a new communal roof terrace will further enhance both the building's reputation and wider market appeal as we witness growing occupier demand for dedicated building amenity."
