There have been two new Covid deaths confirmed in the Bristol region in the last 24 hours.
The Bristol city region and South Gloucestershire both saw one new fatality within 28 days of a positive Covid test, taking the totals in those regions to 499 and 356 respectively.
It is the second death recorded in South Gloucestershire in as many days.

There have also been 497 cases of the virus confirmed around the region, with 239 in the Bristol city region.
There have been 119 new cases confirmed in South Gloucestershire, with North Somerset seeing 62.
There have also been 77 new positive tests in nearby Bath and North East Somerset.
The total number of cases confirmed in each region around Bristol, with the daily rise in brackets, are as follows:
- City of Bristol - 50,414 (+239)
- North Somerset - 15,691 (+62)
- South Gloucestershire - 25,164 (+119)
- Bath and North East Somerset - 14,114 (+77)

Across the United Kingdom there have been a further 26,750 lab-confirmed Covid-19 cases in the UK, the Government said - taking the total across the country to 6,267,437 since the beginning of the pandemic in 2020.
There have also been a further 61 people had died within 28 days of testing positive for Covid-19 as of Friday, bringing the UK total to 130,953.
However the Government data up to August 12 shows that 47,302,445 first doses of the Covid vaccination have been given throughout the UK - a rise of 46,603 on the previous day.
Some 40,577,198 second doses have also now been given, a daily increase of 199,584.
