Two more people have died with coronavirus in Bristol

Another two people have died with coronavirus at Bristol Royal Infirmary (BRI).

A total of 217 people have died with Covid-19 in the city, according to NHS England's figures from today (May 20).

The BRI's coronavirus death toll rose two to 106, while Southmead Hospital's stayed at 111.

It means 15 deaths have been confirmed at the BRI in nine days.

Public Health England's update from today shows Bristol's confirmed cases have risen by one, to 688.

And South Gloucestershire's figure has also increased by one, to 399.

North Somerset's figure has increased by five, to 365, while Bath and North East Somerset has stayed at 230.

A further 363 Covid-19 deaths were announced today in the UK, taking the total to 35,704.

The latest patients to have died in England were aged between 33 and 99.

Five of them, aged between 54 and 70, had no known underlying health condition.
