Two more men have faced court charged with the murder of prison escapee Nicholas Aaron Scott.

The 26-year-old's body was discovered with gunshot wounds in the early hours of January 3 in the northern Hobart suburb of Granton.

He had escaped custody several hours earlier while being treated at the Royal Hobart Hospital.

Shaun George Barrow, 44, and David Ian Charles Coles, 21, were charged on Tuesday with Scott's murder.

Both faced hearings in Hobart Magistrates Court later in the morning, each charged with one count of murder.

Barrow, from Moonah, and Coles, from Collinsvale, were each remanded in custody.

A third man, 20-year-old Brock Callum Davey from Granton, was charged on Friday with Scott's murder and also kept behind bars.

The trio will return to court at a later date.
