Two more men charged in connection with 'racist' singing in Glasgow

Eight people have now been arrested in connection with the singing of racist material in Glasgow.

A further two men were arrested on Friday and are due to appear at court at a later date.

A 20-year-old and 23-year-old man were charged in connection with the incident on August 29, 2021 and were released on an undertaking.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "A further two men, aged 20 and 23, have been arrested and charged in connection with the singing of racist material in Glasgow on Sunday, 29 August, 2021. The men have been released on an undertaking and are due to appear at a later date. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

"Since 1 September, this brings the total number of arrests to eight."
