Two more men charged in connection with death of Glasgow man Kenny Reilly

Two more men have been arrested and charged in connection with the death of Glasgow man Kenny Reilly.

The 29-year-old died after being shot on Maryhill Road last year while he sat in his car at traffic lights.

The dad-of-one was rushed to Glasgow Royal Infirmary on April 16, 2018 but died of his injuries two days later.

A 28-year-old man was arrested and charged on Monday December 2 and is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court the next day.

Police Scotland also confirmed a 39-year-old man was arrested overseas on a European warrant in connection with Kenny Reilly’s death.

He has also been arrested in connection with the death of Jamie Campbell in Glasgow in March 2006.

The 47-year-old died after an incident in Essenside Avenue in the Drumchapel area of the city.

In April this year a £10,000 reward was offered by charity Crimestoppers in exchange for information related to the case.

It comes after two other men, aged 53 and 28, were charged over Mr Reilly’s death on Saturday November 30.

Reports will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
