Carriageway resurfacing work means a Coatbridge road will close for five days from Monday, August 9..
Cecil Street is shut between property 51 and Exeter Street - and while pedestrians can still access the road, there are no alternative routes available to motorists.
Also closed between next Monday and Friday is Chapelhall’s Woodhall Street, from Glen Avon Drive to Russell Street.
This is to allow for the installation of speed tables and diversions for drivers include Lauchope Street, the A73 Main Street and Bellside Road and the B799 Lancaster Avenue and Bo’ness Road.
Meanwhile, Russell Colt Street in Coatbridge is shutting for gas works between 10pm and 8am on the following dates: August 7-8, August 14-15, August 21-22 and August 28-29; the closures will run from 25m east of the B804 Coltswood Road.
