Arsenal fans have been sharing their love for Hector Bellerin.
The full-back returned to his side’s starting line-up for their Carabao Cup fourth round clash against Liverpool at Anfield.
And prior to the game, Bellerin showed his generous side by handing his tracksuit top to his side’s mascot in the Anfield tunnel.
The touch was immediately picked up on by Gunners fans on social media, with them quick to praise the 24-year-old for his kind gesture.
@GrampianGooner: My Captain
@Jayem80: Should’ve always been given the captaincy. Lunacy to give it to anyone else.
@Juju_Bush: I’ve got something in my eye…
@emharvs07: Proper love Hector
@kalgooner: That’s what a captain should be doing ... lead by example ... touch of class
Bellerin’s act comes just days after current Gunners skipper Granit Xhaka caused outrage after he was substituted during their 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace.
The Swiss international was taken off in the second half of his side's game at the Emirates, with the game poised at 2-2.
But as the midfielder walked off the field, the home fans cheered and urged him to hurry up which appeared to anger the Swiss international and he could clearly be seen throwing his hands up in the air and cupping his ear as the boos grew louder.
The 27-year-old then ignored Emery's offer of a handshake and walked straight down the tunnel while seemingly mouthing the swear words numerous times.
It wasn't the only moment where Bellerin showed his class during the game.
Following the second Arsenal goal at Anfield, he was on hand to embrace Mesut Ozil.
The previously out-of-favour midfielder looked rather dejected despite his team adding to the score but Bellerin was there to offer him some words of support.
