A teenage boy was taken to hospital after being injured in a hit-and-run in Bristol.
The rush hour crash happened yesterday evening (Wednesday, December 8), involving a 17-year-old pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle.
Police say the driver failed to stop at the scene after colliding with the teen along Two Mile Hill Road, while the boy was walking across the street at a zebra crossing.

Avon and Somerset Police said its crews were deployed at 5.45pm yesterday.
A spokesperson for the force said: "We’re investigating after a vehicle collided with a pedestrian on Two Mile Hill Road last night and failed to stop at the scene.
"The pedestrian, a 17-year-old boy, sustained a leg injury and was taken to hospital."
Witnesses on social media reported seeing a large number of emergency service crews outside the Centurys Club.
Police confirmed that the teenager was using the zebra crossing at the time of the collision.
The force has urged any witnesses who have not yet spoken with officers to call 101, quoting the reference number 5221288466.
Anyone with any further information, dash cam or other footage which might help the inquiry is also asked to call 101 quoting the same reference number.
South Western Ambulance Service said it sent out the air ambulance and a normal ambulance to the scene after a call came in shortly after 5.30pm.
The caller reported a "road accident involving a teenager and a car", a spokesperson said, and the teenager was taken by road ambulance to hospital.
The collision happened just inside the Bristol city border with South Gloucestershire, where Two Mile Hill meets Kingswood.
Two Mile Hill Road is a busy stretch of the A420 and a key route connecting Bristol with Kingswood town centre and beyond.
Police have not shared a description of the vehicle involved.
