Rivals has updated their rankings for the 2021 basketball recruiting class, and two Michigan State Basketball commits have earned significant jumps in their rankings, while another has slightly dropped.
4-star point guard Jaden Akins jumped 13 spots to No. 48 overall. 4-star shooting guard Pierre Brooks jumped nine spots to No. 69. They had two of the biggest jumps in the entire class. They are the two highest rated players in the state of Michigan for their class, by a wide margin.
5-star shooting guard Max Christie dropped four spots to No. 22 overall.
