Hoskins Architects completed the 'iconic' Strawberry Field site on the former Salvation Army children's home which has been transformed into a visitor centre.
Inspired by the famous Beatles song, the tourist attraction boasts a visitor exhibition, a shop, café and gardens.

The RIBA jury described the project as 'elegant' and 'intelligent', they said: "Strawberry Field should be praised for its simple, elegant building, intelligent land use, excellent biodiversity, high levels of social sustainability and community engagement.
"This is intelligent and considered architecture delivering high social value."
The second winning development is The Gables in Crosby, by DK-Architects.
The £5,000,000 brownfield project is made up of 30 new family houses on a former factory site.

RIBA said: "The close working relationship and shared vision of developer and architect is evident throughout this project, underpinning its success.
"Both are to be applauded for the ambition, perseverance and confidence that it has taken to deliver this intelligently innovative scheme."
Other regional winners included Pele Tower House and Windermere Jetty Museum in Cumbria.
Bakers Place, Wythenshawe Hall, The Ogelsby Centre and Murray's Mills also won in their category from Manchester.
Regional Jury Chair, Gavin Henderson, said: "The diverse range of projects recognised by the Awards reflects the ambition of clients, and strength of design across the region.
"It is especially rewarding to see a number of projects raising the bar in terms of design and quality of housing – a major challenge across the country – and the best projects, critically, making significant steps towards tackling the challenges of the climate emergency.
"These are exemplary schemes in which the value of good design and the impact that has on the experience and wellbeing of the people using the buildings has stood out even more clearly in the challenging context of the past year."
