Two Merseyside venues have been named among the best seaside arcades in the UK.
The summer holidays are well and truly underway and with a few weeks still to go, finding new ways to keep yourself and the kids entertained can be difficult. Now, Bestcasinosites.net has listed the biggest arcade complex in the UK.
Among the list are two Merseyside venues - ArCains at Cains Brewery Village in the Baltic Triangle and Pontins in Southport. ArCains came in at number 12 and Pontins at 14 on the list of the UK’s top 20 best seaside arcades.

Astro City in Essex came in at number one, followed by Butlins in West Sussex and Golden Horseshoe in Hampshire. Arcades in Norfolk, Somerset and the Isle of Wight were also named.
ArCains is from the Mikhail Hotel & Leisure Group (MHALG), which also runs Punch Tarmeys. ArCains arcade features a huge selection of games, from 70s classics to the newest releases, along with pool tables, shuffleboard, basketball and more.
The arcade at Pontins in Southport is home to a range of games, including more recent additions as well as those from decades. According to the arcade’s website, visitors are “sure to find either a new and exciting favourite or that game you’ve been missing for years.”
ArCains is based at 31 Grafton Street, Cains Brewery Village, Liverpool, L8 5SD and Pontins is based at Shore Rd, Southport, PR8 2PZ.
