Two men tragically die after horror house fire in Kells, Co Meath

Two men have tragically died after a house fire in Co Meath.

The two men, in their 40s and 50s, were found dead at the property in Kells overnight.

Emergency services rushed to the scene of the blaze at around 3am on Thursday.

Another man and a woman who also live in the house were not injured in the fire.

Gardai have launched an investigation into the incident.

A spokesman said: "On Thursday 26th March 2020 at approximately 3am, Gardaí and Emergency Services were called to the scene of a fire at a house in Kells, County Meath.

"Two men (aged in their 40s and 50s) were pronounced dead at the scene. Two other occupants of the house (a male and female) were uninjured.

"Gardaí are investigating all circumstances of this incident."
