Two men 'stabbed' at the home of Wu-Tang Clan rapper RZA

Two men have reportedly been stabbed at a party at a house owned by Wu-Tang Clan rapper RZA.

The men have been taken to hospital with stab wounds, it is thought the altercation happened following an argument at the New Jersey property, early on Saturday. It is not suggested RZA was there at the time.

It is not known if the men were involved in the argument.

According to the Associated Press news agency, police did not identify who the homeowner was, yet public records show it to belong to RZA, whose real name is Robert Fitzgerald Diggs, 46.

Sergeant Gregory Williams, from the New Jersey State police told NJ.com they responded to a report of a stabbing at 01.18am and said the two men “sustained serious injuries”. Police are still investigating the incident.

RZA founded the Staten Island hip-hop group in the early 1990s. He performed with them at the Fun Fun Fun Festival in Austin, Texas on Saturday night.

The Independent has contacted a representative of RZA for comment.
