Two men stabbed and third shot in broad daylight 'major incident' in Birmingham

Two men have been stabbed and another shot in a "major incident" in Birmingham, police have confirmed.

West Midlands Police cordoned off part of Hob Moor Road in the city’s Bordesley Green area, following the incident at 10am today.

Footage captured five police officers carrying out a fingertip search of the crime scene, reports Birmingham Live.

They combed the area for evidence as they walked slowly in a line examining the pavement and road.

Two police officers guard each end of the crime scene.

Three men were injured in the knife and gun attack.

They are being treated for their injuries in hospital, West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed.

The scene is just 400 yards away from the spot where a teenager was stabbed to death in Norwood Road two years ago.

South Birmingham College student Hazrat Umar, 18, was brutally attacked by Adam Muhammed using a Rambo-style knife on February 25, 2019.

Muhammed, then 17, fled the scene and left his victim for dead with 15 knife injuries. He was later locked up for 14-years and three months after pleading guilty to murder.
