Two men rushed to hospital after stabbing in Grangemouth as cops make five arrests

Two men were rushed to hospital after a stabbing in Grangemouth during the early hours of this morning.

Emergency service raced to a block of flats on Islay Court at around 1.20am following reports of a disturbance.

A 34-year-old man is being treated for serious, but not life-threatening injuries at Forth Valley Royal Hospital.

A 29-old-man was also injured in the disturbance.

Five men have been arrested in connection with the attack.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 1.20am on Monday, 1 March, 2021, officers were called to a report of a disturbance at a property on Islay Court, Grangemouth. A 34-year-old man was taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital with serious, but not life-threatening, injuries.

"A 29-year-old man was also taken to hospital for treatment.

"Three men, aged 38, 33 and 29, and two men, aged 30 and 27, were arrested in connection with the incident. Enquiries are ongoing."
