Two men have been rushed to hospital following an incident in the city centre this evening.
The incident occurred at around 7.15pm in St Enoch Square.
Police Scotland have confirmed they were in attendance at the two men were rushed to Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
The extent of their injuries is not currently known.
A police spokesman said: "At around 7.15pm on Wednesday, 18th March 2020, police attended an incident after reports of two men seriously injured in St Enoch Square, Glasgow.
"Two men have been taken by ambulance to Glasgow Royal Infirmary. The extent of their injuries are unknown at this time.
"Police enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances."
