Two men rushed to hospital after 'disturbance' at Drumchapel flat

Two men have been taken to hospital after a disturbance in a flat in Drumchapel.

Officers raced to Achamore Road at around 11.15pm on Saturday after reports of an ongoing incident.

Two men, aged 28 and 24, were rushed to the city's Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.

The 24-year-old was later arrested in connection with the incident.

Officers probing the disturbance said enquiries are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.15pm on Saturday, August 1 police received a report of a disturbance at a property on Achamore Road, Glasgow.

“Officers attended and two men, aged 28 and 24, were taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.

“The 24-year-old man was later arrested in connection with the incident.

“Enquiries are ongoing.”
