Two men plead guilty to causing GBH with intent

Two men have pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm with intent to a man.

Anthony Gregory, 34, of Holbrook Court, Mansfield, and Hayden Lafferty, 18, of Bakewell Walk, Mansfield, both entered their guilty pleas over a video link from HMP Nottingham on Monday, November 9.

The incident happened on August 9 this year but no further details were given at a short further case management hearing at Nottingham Crown Court.

Lafferty also pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer on August 9.

Gregory will be sentenced on Friday, November 13, and Lafferty in the week of December 14

Both remain in custody.

Judge Stuart Rafferty QC told them: "You will be given credit for your pleas. That concludes today's hearing."
