Two men have been found after a hired pedal boat was discovered capsized on Lake Bonney in South Australia's Riverland region early on New Year's Day.
South Australia Police said the empty boat was found together with an Esky believed to belong to the men who pedalled out on the lake at Barmera about 2am.
A search of the lake and foreshore was undertaken by police and SES through the night and continued on Saturday morning assisted by a police aircraft.
SA Police on Saturday afternoon said in a statement officers identified the two men involved in the incident and confirmed that they were safe and well.
