Two men injured - one seriously - after being struck by car which left road near Ayrshire farm

Police are appealing for information following a road crash on the A760 near Kilbirnie.

The incident happened around 2.20pm on Thursday, November 14 near Connelston Farm. It involved a Mazda 5 car which left the road and struck two men who were working nearby.

One of the men, 48, suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow, where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

The second man, 37, suffered minor head injuries and was treated at the scene by Scottish Ambulance Staff before being taken to Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley.

Inspector Greg Dinnie of Ayrshire Road Policing said: "I am appealing for witnesses who may have been on the road at the time and may have dash-cam footage of the collision. Any information should be reported via 101, quoting incident 1921 if November 14, 2019."
