Two men injured after disturbance in city centre

Two men were injured after a disturbance in the city centre last night.

Police arrived at the scene on Howard Street after receiving a report of the incident and taped the area off at around 9:10pm last night.

They confirm two males, aged 44 and 49, were assaulted and suffered non-life threatening injuries.

A spokesman said: " Police Scotland was made aware of a disturbance at Howard Street in Glasgow around 9.10pm on Friday, 29 November.

"Two men - aged 44 and 49-years-old - suffered non-life threatening injuries during the incident.

"Inquiries are ongoing and anyone with information can contact police by calling 101, quoting incident 3916 of 29 November, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
