Two men in their 20s arrested in connection with spate of burglaries and thefts in Limerick

Gardaí yesterday arrested two men in connection with a spate of burglaries and thefts that have taken place since the beginning of the year.

The men in their 20s were taken into custody by officers in the Limerick Garda Division.

A Garda spokesman said: “Searches were carried out [on Wednesday] in Limerick city by Detective Gardaí from Henry Street and Roxboro Road, with assistance from the Divisional Crime Task Force.”

The pair are being detained under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007 at Henry Street and Roxboro Road Garda Stations.
