Two men in hospital after alleged stabbing at Blair Athol, in Adelaide's north

A 29-year-old man is in a serious but stable condition after he was allegedly stabbed in Adelaide's north overnight. 

Police were called to a reserve on Leslie Avenue at Blair Athol about 10:15pm yesterday.

They found a Parafield Gardens man in his car in nearby Alice Avenue with stab wounds to his abdomen.

A 26-year-old Blair Athol man was arrested and is expected to be charged with aggravated assault causing harm later today.

He was also taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police believe the men are known to each other.

Also overnight, police are searching for a man and a woman who assaulted a service station employee and stole cash and cigarettes this morning.

Officers were called to a petrol station on Main Road, Belair, just before 5:00am, where a man and a woman allegedly assaulted the female staff member.

She was treated at the scene but not seriously injured.
