Two men in court over alleged murder of man found injured in Lanarkshire garden

Two men have appeared in private at court in connection with the alleged murder of a man in Hamilton.

Christopher McGee McCallum was found injured in the garden of his home in Hill Street in Burnbank on November 5.

The 36-year-old died in hospital just a few days later on Monday, November 8.

Yesterday, two men appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court in connection with his death.

William McMahon, 45, and David McMahon, 39, made no plea or declaration in relation to a charge of murder.

David McMahon, from Hamilton, made no plea or declaration in relation to a weapons charge and a charge of assault.

He was remanded in custody, but William McMahon - also from the town - was released on bail.
