Two men were rushed to hospital with serious injuries following a incident in Edinburgh.
Emergency services raced to reports of a disturbance at a flat on Lochend Road South around 10.20pm on Thursday, June 17.
A 51-year-old man and 46-year-old man were both rushed to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment for serious injuries.
Cops have arrested and charged two other men, aged 54 and 53, in connection with the incident.
The pair were expected to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were made aware of two men being injured following a disturbance at a flat on Lochend Road South in Edinburgh shortly after 10.20pm on Thursday, 17 June.
"The men, aged 51 and 46, were taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment to serious injuries.
"Two men, 54 and 53, have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and are due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday, 21 June, 2021."
