Two men hospitalised in Bristol after ‘serious’ attack near PRYZM nightclub

Two men have been hospitalised after a 'serious' attack near PRYZM nightclub in the early hours of the morning.

The incident occurred on Canons Road at approximately 4am today (July 31).

Emergency services took the men to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.

Avon and Somerset Police are now investigating the assault and conducting CCTV enquiries.

The force have issued a witness appeal and would like to speak to anyone who saw or has knowledge of the assault.

An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: “We’re investigating a serious assault that happened in the early hours of this morning (Saturday, July 31) in Bristol.

“Two men were injured in an incident in Canons Road, near PRYZM nightclub, at approximately 4am.

“Paramedics took them to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.

“CCTV enquiries are being conducted. We would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this assault or who may have knowledge of what happened.
