Two men from Wythenshawe charged with firearms and drug offences after police raids

Two men have been charged with firearms and drug offences after police raids in Wythenshawe and Warrington.

Nico Logan, 27, of Shayfield Road, Wythenshawe, has been charged with one count of conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life, two counts of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs and one count of being concerned in the supply of Class B drugs.

Jordan Gabriel, 29, of Bolam Close, Wythenshawe, was charged with one count of conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life and three counts of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.

Both men were remanded to appear before Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court today (Friday, March 19).

Police carried out five raids in Wythenshawe and Warrington on Thursday, seizing cash and drugs too.

The action is linked to Operation Foam - the Greater Manchester Police part of the National Crime Agency-led Operation Venetic.

The operation has seen police throughout the UK mount raids against suspected members of organised crime groups after a global and encrypted communications system, EncroChat, used by criminals was cracked.
