A police spokesman said an investigation had been launched in a bid to find how the pair died.

The incident comes months after Kieran Cowan, 23, died after his boat capsized in Loch Awe, Scotland.

Two men on board were able to swim to safety on a nearby island while Kieran was nowhere to be found, the Daily Record reported.
