Two men found dead in Scots flat as cops probe deaths

Two men have been found dead in a Scots flat.

Emergency services raced to Broad Street, Cowdenbeath, at around 5:30pm on Saturday, November 20.

Two men, aged 51 and aged 56, were found dead within a flat on the street.

Officers have launched a probe into the double deaths which are being treated as unexplained.

It's understood the deaths are not being treated as suspicious.

Anyone with information is being urged to come forward as the investigation continues.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We received a report in connection with two men found dead within a flat on Broad Street, Cowdenbeath, around 5.30pm on Saturday, 20 November.

"The deaths of both men, aged 56 and 51, are currently being treated as unexplained but not suspicious.

"Enquiries are ongoing.

"Anyone with any information relating to this should contact us on 101 quoting incident number 2825 of 20 November."
