Two men found dead after police called to block of flats

The bodies of two men have been found at a block of flats in Bury.

Officers were called to a property in Daisyfield Court, off Bolton Road, at about 6.30pm on Wednesday (February 17) to a report of concern for the welfare of a man.

Emergency services attended and two men, aged 91 and 65, were pronounced dead at the scene.

There are not currently believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death, say Greater Manchester Police.

Files on the deaths have been passed to the coroner.

A spokesperson for GMP said: "Officers were called around 6.30pm on Wednesday 17 February 2021 to a report of concern for the welfare of a man at a property on Daisyfield Court, Bury.

"Officers attended and two men, aged 91 and 65 , were sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

"There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding their deaths and a file will be passed to the coroner."
