Two men managed to escape uninjured after a car went up in flames on the M8.
Emergency services were called to the motorway at J25 Cardonald westbound shortly before 9pm on Friday.
The Scottish Fire Service confirmed the car was completely burnt out in the blaze and two men managed to escape the vehicle before emergences services arrived at the scene.
A SFRS spokesman confirmed no one had been hurt in the incident.
He said: "We were called to Junction 25 on the M8 at 8.57pm on Friday.
"We sent out three appliances and an ambulance also attened.
"One car was completely destroyed and two males managed to remove themselves from the vehicle before emergency services attended.
"There were no casualties and the last appliance remained at the area until 10.07pm"
