Two men convicted after fight in Arnold McDonald's leaves people 'fearing for safety'

Two men have been convicted of affray after a fight broke out in a McDonald's in Arnold leaving customers "fearing for their safety".

Ashley Cumberpatch, 33, of First Avenue, Carlton, and Anthony Eddishaw, 32, of Blidworth Lane, Rainworth, both pleaded guilty to affray at Nottingham Crown Court on March 21.

The fight happened on July 18, 2018 which left customers fleeing the restaurant in Sir John Robinson Way in Arnold.

Cumberpatch received a 16 month sentence suspended for 18 months, unpaid work of 240 hours, £500 costs and a victim surcharge of £140.

Eddishaw received a 12 month sentence suspended for 18 months, unpaid work of 240 hours, £500 costs and victim surcharge of £140.
