Two men charged over high-value ram raid at Yves St Laurent on London’s Bond Street

Two men will appear in court charged over a high-value ram raid at a Yves St Laurent store in central London.

Footage taken by a passer-by shows the balaclava-clad robbers clearing shelves of the lavish Old Bond Street shop after using a black SUV to smash their way through its window.

The Metropolitan Police received reports that thieves had stolen a number of items, including handbags worth up to £30,000 a piece at 3am on Friday.

Detectives from the Flying Squad, who have been probing a series of similar raids on luxury retail outlets in recent months, picked up the investigation.

Ryan Brough, 32, and Max Tyson, 25, were arrested later the same day and taken into custody.

On Saturday Brough, of Courtney Road, Islington and Tyson, 25, of St Peter’s Street, Islington were charged with conspiracy to commit burglary between November last year and January 2026.

Both men are due to appear in custody at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

A force spokesman said: “Enquiries are ongoing to locate a third man believed to have been involved in the Yves Saint Laurent incident.”

A witness told the Daily Mail: “I was walking to my car near Yves Saint Laurent on Bond Street when I heard a loud bang.

“I observed a blue car being driven into the storefront window, smashing the glass.”

“I saw [them] remove items from the store and load them into the vehicle. After this, they left the scene.”

It comes just days after a gang of brazen robbers, riding motorbikes, stole thousands of pounds worth of Rolex watches from a store in Knightsbridge.

Phone footage showed two motorbikes descending on the Bucherer Rolex Boutique at One Hyde Park.
