Two men charged after police motorway cocaine sting

Two men have been charged with drug offences after police stopped a van on a motorway in the midlands.

The van was stopped by police on the M42 in Worcester and officers found three kilos of cocaine stored in a hide within the vehicle.

The stop was followed up with police raids in Garston, Aigburth and Rhyl leading to the seizure of £10,000 in cash, a cash-counting machine and a drugs press.

The activity was a joint operation between Merseyside Police and the force in North Wales.

Police have now charged two men with drug offences.
