Two men charged after armed robbery in Moston

Two men have been charged after an armed robbery in Moston.

A car was stolen during the robbery on Brocklehurst Street at around 7pm on Thursday, January 23.

Michael Daly, 22, of Sandyhill Road, Manchester has been charged with robbery, possession of a bladed article, fraud by false representation, theft, dangerous driving and driving a motor vehicle whilst over the prescribed limit of alcohol.

Patrick Daly, 38, of no fixed address has been charged with aggravated vehicle taking.

Both men have been remanded in custody to appear before Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court on Monday (January 27).

A GMP spokesperson said: "This is in relation to an armed robbery which took place at 7pm on Thursday, January 23 on Brocklehurst Street, in which a car was stolen."
