Two men who allegedly went on a two-day crime spree from the Gold Coast to north Queensland have been remanded in custody.

The men were arrested separately on Monday after allegedly committing a string of violent offences around Coomera, Mackay and Townsville.

Police allege a 29-year-old Cairns man and a 30-year-old Logan man threatened a bottle shop employee with a tyre iron at Sarina, south of Mackay, on Monday afternoon.

The offenders, one wearing a fishing mask, then drove off after taking a sum of money and liquor.

Police said the men then travelled to north Bowen where they allegedly threatened a driver and stole their vehicle.

At about 4:20pm, the 30-year-old man was arrested by police in a Bowen suburb.

The 29-year-old man allegedly drove to a property in the Burdekin, south of Townsville, broke into a house, and demanded the keys to the resident's car before continuing north in the blue Volkswagen Tiguan.

Dramatic bodycam footage depicted the end of alleged the two-day spree, with the shirtless 29-year-old man surrendering before being handcuffed by police south of Townsville just before 6:00pm yesterday.

Prior to the 1,300km road trip, it is alleged the Logan man was also involved in an armed robbery at a grocery store in Coomera on Sunday.

Police alleged the man threatened a store attendant with a screwdriver before stealing money from the till and making off with the shopkeeper's car.

The 29-year-old Cairns man has been charged with four counts of stealing, three counts each of evading police and unlawful use of a motor vehicle and one count each of wilful damage, armed robbery, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and attempted robbery.

The 30-year-old from Logan has been charged with four counts of stealing, three counts each of evading police and unlawful use of a motor vehicle and one count each of wilful damage, armed robbery, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and attempted robbery.

The men are expected to appear before the Townsville Magistrates and Bowen Districts courts again in November.
