Two men are awaiting deportation to Romania after they were arrested in Radford.
Cristian Dafina, 46, and Ionut Poparlan, 36, both of Wimbourne Road, Radford , were arrested on Friday, October 16.
Both men were wanted for deportation due to previous offences committed in Romania.
They are now being dealt with by the Home Office’s Immigration Enforcement Team and are being held in a detention centre, awaiting deportation to Romania.
Sergeant Tim Cuthbert said: “The Foreign National Offending team works very closely with the Home Office, to identify and remove people who stay here illegally to commit crime and cause harm.
“We continue to focus on people who we believe pose a risk to the public, and will use all tactics available to us to remove foreign offenders and keep people safe.”
