Two men arrested following attempted burglary in Bolton

Two men have been arrested following an attempted burglary in Bradshaw.

Police received reports of two men trying door handles near Canon Slade High School in Tonge Moor Road on Saturday afternoon.

Officers attended the scene and two males were stopped on Danesbury Road following an area search. A 42-year-old male and a 43-year-old male have since been arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary.

A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said they remain in police custody for questioning.
